This is an old release somewhere in 2013 but it just arrived in my mailbox yesterday, in 2023. After my first listening, what I can conclude is that Phlox is a Floyd worshiper !!! YWNTS or You Will Need This Soon consist of 7 tracks with duration of nearly 50 minutes with the longest track is YWNTS itself, 25 minutes of psychedelic rock tunes. The keyboard, the arrangement, the effect used strongly reminds me to the Floyd's Echoes. Not a copy of Echoes but identical. The Pale, Blue China track started with live recording I think and later merged to a proper studio recording which is another favorite of mine besides YWNTS.
This is the second album for the band, so the maturity is there I must say. The cover art and layout is good and perfectly fit with the mood of the music that the band deliver. I'm not sure if Phlox is still around making music, but for more info you can get in touch with the founding member here.
